I am Paul Downs. My knowledge of construction comes from watching and working with my father and his brothers, all former farm boys, as they built barns, garages, room additions, and remodeling jobs. I have done a lot of this type of work myself, doing my own framing, drywall, electrical, plumbing, and other basic work. 

Using powerful design tools, a background in graphic design, and a knowledge of basic construction techniques, I will take your ideas to create a set of diagrams and plans. These plans will include all the details you want to see in your project, including proper wall thicknesses, rough openings for doors and windows, placement of specific details such as bathroom fixtures, lighting, kitchen appliances, etc. I can create lighting plans for your electrician, a tile layout for your mason, and specific details for your framer. I will work with contractors or tradespeople to make sure my plans accurately represent the homeowner's dreams.
